Insects - beneficial for humans, environment, and our future of food! According to the FAO, sustainable diets are those with low environmental impact, which contribute to food and nutrition security and to healthy life for present and future generations.  Theway we eat should be respectful and protective of biodiversity and ecosystems. Important as well is the cultural acceptance, the accessibility and that food is  fair and affordable. Furthermore, diets need to be nutritionally adequate, safe, healthy and aligned with natural and human resources. Insects can contribute a big part to a solution for the imminent problems we’re facing with our current food system and thus help respecting our planetary boundaries.
